Great views of Mt Diablo from the South which is where the park is located. The parking lot is about 2000 feet asl and the trails to the east follow along a ridge and descend back towards Diablo. The park borders and connects to Round Valley, Los Vaqueros, and Mt Diablo. Great hiking/walking with wildlife including rattlesnakes which we encountered right on the trail so stay vigilant. This regional Park is on my regular stop list and there is camping on the West side of Morgan Territory road accessible by foot only.

Easy accessibility for all ages, many trails to explore. Great for a picnic after a hike. Abundant wildlife...use caution early morning or dusk this area has mountain lions , a noise maker would be a good idea for early or latter hours

Very nice place live about 5 minutes away.very beautiful during the winter.best time to go is during the morning hours during the summer and afternoon hours during the winter, but also depends on the weather.can be very rainy and wet during the winter and very hot and dry and windy during the summer, definitely recommended to bring you're kids here and show them the beautiful nature, lots of great animals to see,be carful of rattle snakes.you can see deer sometimes.but definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves outdoors.

Great place to get away from everyone for a bit.

Nice quiet out of the way park in the East Bay. Never busy like Mt Diablo. Spent the day on the Bob Walker trail, fantastic views of the central valley and delta. Lots of wildlife and cattle grazing freely. Keep dogs leashed!
