Terrible customer service, I am done with Lowe's. I bought a washer machine online on July 28th and the Livermore store was supposed to deliver next day... they took 2 days because they called, they left a voice mail and didn't even try again..., then, when delivered, they didn't install it because they were not sure about something related to the water faucet, the guy left in 3min... just look at it and said... I cannot install, sorry, you need to call back again.....and they came back 2 days later after several calls.
Bought a new door lock and had it rekeyed for just $5 extra. Well worth the price! I can do it but it is a lot of work and can be frustrating.
On top of this, I don't like the washer at all, it is not the regular top-load washer I was hoping for, it won't fill the water, it will flush water away with the detergent... just don't like it and when I ask for a return they told me... our 90 days return policy does not apply to washers, sorry, you bought it 32 days ago, so you don't qualify... and that's it. Not even ask a question of how to solve the issue... Terrible customer service! Now I am stuck with a washer that I hate and I know for sure I am not coming back to Lowe's to buy any other appliance or anything else....
Went to Lowe's to buy new carpet, the subcontractor they hired to install the carpet stole a cell phone and money from my house. I am working with the owner of the company to the resolve the incident. I have a problem with they way Lowe's is handling the incident. I have contacted the store three times to speak with a manager. I am not looking for anything other than a 3 minute conversation to explain what happened and voice my complaint. The problem is no was has returned my call it is now day three. This store's version of customer service is to ignore the customer and the problem will go away. I am writing this review to discourage you from using them for services such as installations or large ticket items (i.e. fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer). If something goes wrong you will probably not receive any communication from the company. There are plenty of other companies that will at least will call you back if you have a complaint.
THE EMPLOYEES WERE FRIENDLY, EAGER TO HELP, AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.
I came in looking for a simple door stopper and looked everywhere and couldn't find one. In the time I came in on what was a Monday afternoon I never saw one employee in any of the aisles to ask for help. Finally, I walked up to one of the cash registers and found two employees standing around doing absolutely nothing. I stood in front of them and neither asked me if I needed help with anything. I figured out quick that these two shmucks were less than motivated to do anything other than to ring up someone. I had to ask the one guy if he knew where I could find a door stopper. He lazily pointed out that i should check aisle 2. I already did before but decided to check again and found nothing even close. I finally gave up and decided to leave. As I was walking out I shook my head at the two all stars who didn't even do much as ask me if I found what I was looking for and clearly didn't care. Hard to find good help these days.
