The divest of the dive bars. "Smokey"? More like it stinks of old cigars and cigarette butts. It has the look and feel of death's waiting room in the movie Beetlejuice. If you like Jerry Garcia look-alike waiters and 1940s Miami motel settings, this is your place. Can't believe indoor smoking is allowed here
Cheap local beer on tap, string lights, real old school bartender, AC. Lava Rock, worn out bar and chill low tables. Digital Jukebox. No plastic but ATM inside. Bathroom smell like a Mexican hotel in 1991. Played swing, garage punk, psychobilly and a rap song when I was there and everyone was chill with it. Love this place! If your lookin for hip trendy place you should go somehwere else!
I think this guy is racis!!! When I got in the bar the first time, he started to look at me in that way... like, what the hell are you doing in here... when I asked him for a drink, he asked me, "what"? I said, I need a beer! Than he say, " I don't even know you" what the hell!! this is a bar, is it that you know everybody that walk in here...? Ok I made myself comfortable took my drink and left. The next day when I got back... he give me the same look and, this time he was very rude!!! Shouted at and jerk the money from my hand and said something I didn't understand. Is it because I was the only black who was always coming to his bar?
